Full Description

Black areas with Rom sherds, including one Samian fragment and a fragment kiln roof and a flange with a wavy combing. Collected by B Brown (S1). Basil Brown map only shows kiln site HEP 001 (S3). It seems likely HEP 002 is the same site as HEP 001 and the map reference quoted in (S1) was inaccurate due to use of pre grid OS maps.
