Full Description

Med pottery, glazed and plain, including at least one sagging base fragment found in black earth patches. Other finds of IA and possibly LSax pottery also present and hut sites and hearth excavated. Details and sketches are confusing as many of the artefacts were not in situ, having been removed by the excavator digging a pipeline trench across the site in December 1951 (S1).
