Full Description

Small ring ditch, circa 10m diameter. One of a group of five, TYN 037- 039,041, adjacent to enclosure, TYN 042, and field boundaries, TYN 011 (S1).
A ring ditch of circa 8 metres diameter, probably the remains of a small Bronze Age barrow, can be seen on air photographs as a cropmark to the south of Innocence Cottage in Trimley St Martin parish, centred on circa TM27003898. The ditch appears to be 1 metre wide or less on available photographs, with a maximum diameter of circa 8 metres. The enclosed area is on average 6.5 metres in diameter. Three similar sized possible barrows can be seen as ring ditches immediately to the east and south, probably satellites of a large probable barrow 5 metres to the north (see TYN 037-039, TYN 041).
