Full Description
Fragments of flue tile found in black layer about 18 inches down. No occupation debris visible. Note - next field, TM 273 353 is known as Kiln Field and is reported to have yielded possible Roman tiles. Area of red soil with 'briquetage' fragments to NW of this spot. Probably salt working. One sherd Rom (S2).
