Full Description
Ring ditch, circa 15-20m diameter. Near linear ditch system area SLY 009, SLY 006 (S1)(S2)(S3).
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs, centred on TM 23273653 to the south of Charity Farm, Shotley. The ring ditch encloses an area of 20m in diameter and appears to have no entrances. It is probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. See SLY 018 and SLY 030 for other ring ditches in this field. (S1-S4)
