Full Description

Moat, two sides of square. Isolated, occupied, close to parish boundary. Scatter located by R Colchester in interior during fieldwalking survey, not listed (S1)(S2).

The irregular water features shown on the OS 6" 1958 were filled in about 1965. According to the farmer they were only farm ponds and did not form a moat. (S3)
