Full Description

Fieldwalking for Fenland survey in March 1987 revealed thin spread of Neo and Preh material within area of Rom site. Finds included a flaked flint axehead (drawing in Parish file), from TL 6963 7904, a fragment of a stone quern from TL 6964 7902, a general spread of struck flakes and burnt flint fragments and a few flint tempered sherds (S1).
Note: within area of enclosure ditch MNL 531.
