Full Description

Socketed axe found in 1933 (S1,S2). Large socketed axe with loop decorated with five parallel raised ribs terminating in double pellets on one face and single or undiscernible double pellets on reverse. Length 11.8 cms. Effected by bronze disease, disfigured especially on blade edge after treatment by IPSMG. Sompting influenced type of C7 BC (S3,S4).
