Full Description

Axe-hammer marked on 6 inch record map by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Large perforated axe head of quartzite, nine inches long. Ploughed up in a field opposite Reydon church. Finder eventually sold it (ten pounds)' (S2).
Sources vary slightly as to exact findspot and identification of object.
Note: Probably same as 'BA ceremonial axehead' marked on map as found at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) approx (S1).
