Full Description

Mildenhall (area). Stone axe, 8.5 inches long. Petrologically sliced on unknown date, possibly by late Dr H H Thomas, but result unknown. Acquired by late Alexander Keiller in early 1920's, presumably purchased, presented to Avebury Museum and then to IPSMG 1965.
Same (?) as IPSMG 965.89 85/3, dolerite or greenstone axe from Mildenhall(?) listed in (S2).
