Full Description

`This parish has produced a very great number of Neo implements, including polished and unpolished axes, chipped and ground flint knives, arrowheads, scrapers etc. Many of these implements are described and figured in Evans (R1)(S1). The Evans collection is now in OXFAS - see LKH Misc Neo (CRN 09678-09680). For further finds from Lakenheath in various museums, see LKH Misc Neo (CRN 09673-09681, 09684-09686).
Although listed as stray finds many of these artefacts probably derive from surface scatters, which are common in the Lakenheath fen edges.

Formerly recorded as LKH MISC
