Full Description
Large basal looped spearhead from `Lakenheath Fen' found in 1853. Lozenge shaped mid-rib with concave keeling to blade edge bevel. Rib decorated with four longitudinal ribs. Lozenge shaped loop plates. Tip missing. Length 42.8 cms. Late MBA form. Formerly Warren, then Sir John Evans collection (S1). Listed incorrectly as OXFAS 1927-2500 by Rowlands (S2). Also recorded in (S3-S7).
