Full Description

Large triple ribbed socketed axe, 12.4 cms long. Probably Sompting form, drawing (by N Hirst) in NWHCM (S1). Found while digging with an excavator on industrial estate, circa 1972.
Also Neo(?) worked flint flake with retouch from same approximate location (S3).
