Monument record SOL 021 - Site of possible cropmark, Waveney Grange Farm

Please read our .

Summary

A circular cropmark, measuring 30m in diameter and of unknown date, was identified on aerial photographs. It lies in close proximity to a second possible ring ditch or circular enclosure (SHER SOL 020) and others in the area (SHER SOL 022). A more recent survey of aerial photographs of the area has reinterpreted both SOL 020 and SOL 021 as photo blemishes rather than archaeological features. The archaeological origin of SOL 022 is also doubtful.
