Full Description
February 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The site of a World War Two a type 22 pillbox and other defences is visible at Mutford Lock on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The pillbox is flanked by two structures enclosed within blast walls, which are likely to be gun emplacements or similar defensive positions.
