Full Description
March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Several fragmentary linear ditches and one curvilinear ditch are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S3) to the south of Wangford Road, Reydon.
The cropmarks are fragmentary, and visible within an area of geological patterning, thus it is difficult to be certain that they represent archaeological activity. At least two of the linear ditches are on the same alignment as field boundaries depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey Map, and are therefore likely to represent field boundaries. It is possible, though, that the northwest-southeast ditches represent part of an undated trackway.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27th March 2014.
