Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the west of North Common Wood, Covehithe.
The cropmarks are faint and fragmentary and are visible against a background of geological marks, but may represent field boundariesand/or trackways. A possible enclosure is also visible to the north of the area (S2). Other marks in the field were considered likely to be geological in origin, although it was difficult to distinguish the archaeological features from geological marks.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 8th May 2014.
