Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of undated field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the north of St Michael’s Church, Benacre.
Both Roman and medieval pottery has been recovered to east of the churchyard wall (SHER BNC 013) and although these features are fragmentary it is possible that they relate to either period.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 20th May 2014.
