Full Description
June 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear ditches and several possible pit features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2), on land to the south of Benacre Road, Henstead with Hulver Street.
It is likely that the linear ditches relate to field boundary ditches, a possible enclosure and at least one possible trackway, although they are fragmentary, and in places difficult to distinguish from the background of geological marks. Therefore the possible pit features to the south of the site in particular have been recorded with a hint of caution.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 4th June 2014.
