Full Description
July 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated fragmentary linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2), on land to the south of Toad Row, Henstead with Hulver Street.
They are fragmentary and visible against a background of geological marks, and it is possible that they relate to post medieval field boundaries, some of which are depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (S2). However, it is also possible that they represent part of former field boundaries or enclosures, and that the archaeological features extend further than those that are mapped.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17th July 2014.
