Full Description
An earthwork is visible adjacent to Field Lane, Kessingland, on a 1941 aerial photograph (S1). It may be some sort of covered trench air raid shelter, but the scale and quality of the photograph is not sufficient to be sure. The feature is surrounded by a double barbed wire fence, which forms a sqaure, straddling the road. The enclosure measures nearly 90m across. Alternatively the site could be a bombing decoy site. The site has been dismantled by 1944, as it no longer appears on aerial photographs from this date.

A possible World War Two pillbox is visible at this point on aerial photographs from 1945 (S2). It may be related to another possible pillbox to the south (SHER KSS 101).
