Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The site of a possible World War Two covered/camouflaged air raid shelter and trenches may be visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The interpretation of these features is uncertain, as they appear to be associated with mounds of material within an industrial/dockside setting. It may be that they relate to activity at the site and serve no defensive function.
