Full Description

Cropmark of arc of possible ring ditch (of circa 25m diameter?), cut or masked by field boundary ditch/hedge (S1). Just east of larger ring ditch, BRK 099.

The cropmark of an arc of a possible ploughed out Bronze Age round barrow, approximately 29m in diameter was mapped for the Ipswich NMP in 2013. The cropmark was truncated by a field boundary and has since been destroyed by the development of an industrial estate. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) November 2013 (S2)

2006: Evaluation trenching indicated that previous landscaping and terracing for the erection of warehouses and car parking had destroyed all evidence of past activity (S3).
