Full Description

Cropmark ring ditch of circa 20m diameter with possible internal features (S1) (S2) (S3). One of a pair-also see CRM 014. Note various field enclosure boundaries further to NE in same field.

Cropmarks of a partial ring ditch which may represent a ploughed out Bronze Age round barrow, only the south-west side of the feature has been mapped. It appears that the cropmark has been truncated by a farm track and is partially masked by crop disturbance at the edge of the field. The cropmark is 25m in diameter, with no visible evidence of internal features and is located 9m north-east of a second complete ring-ditch. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) December 2013. (S4, S5)
