Full Description

About half of a visible ring ditch, circa 22m diameter, next to ring ditch CRP 002. Cut by field boundary cropmark and by existing track/road. (S1)

Cropmarks of two ploughed out Bronze Age round barrows. The first is 33m in diameter and has been cut by a boundary and farm track, although a short section of the ditch can be seen on the south side of the track. The barrow has also been cut by a former field boundary, which is marked on the 1st edition OS mapping. 12m to the west is a further concentric ring ditch with a large sub-circular outer ring 30m in diameter and a circular inner ring, 13m in diameter. The outer ring of this cropmark has also been cut by the farm track. Neither cropmark has any visible internal features. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) December 2013. (S2)
