Full Description

Ring ditch circa 33m in diameter. Partly cut by the B1113 road on E side (S1)(S2). For other ring ditches nearby see BRK 005, 006, 008 & 011.

Cropmarks of a ring-ditch, 32m in diameter that has been truncated by the road, that probably represents a ploughed out Bronze Age round barrow. There are no visible internal features or entrances and although the ring-ditch is represented as an upstanding monument on the OS mapping there is no evidence for an earthwork. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council) February 2014. (S4)
