Full Description
Series of 30 WWII air raid shelters along the edge school playing field, 17m by 5m. There appear to be two entrances, one at either end, on each of the structures. The structures were clearly visble on the 1947 RAF photography, but had been removed by 1948. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), April 2014. (S1-S2)
