Full Description
Quarrying, of unknown date, visible as earthworks during World War II but ploughed by 1953. The quarrying appears to postdate the ridge and furrow in this area. The main group is around TM 408551 but there is another pit at TM 41065502.(S1-3)
Initially numbered as IKN 015 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
