Full Description

Numerous World War II slit trenches visible as c.3mx1m pits along the top of a north-facing slope on Iken Heath. The area was used intensively for armoured vehicle training during World War II but was arable by 1972 when the trenches were no longer visible.(S1-2)
Initially numbered as IKN 015 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
