Full Description

Four military emplacements, slit trenches and a possible bunker probably of World War II date, visible at TM 406557. The four emplacements are arranged in a rough arc with the possible bunker structure in the middle. The emplacement immediately to the south has three slit trenches just to its west. The features are visible in 1943 and 1945 when Iken Heath was being used intensively for armoured vehicle training, but they are not visible by 1972, when the land is arable. (S1-3)
Initially numbered as IKN 015 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
