Full Description

Possible archaeological features, of unknown date, visible as lighter areas in the intertidal mud northeast of Iken Church (TM 41775684, TM 41785686, TM 41845691 and TM 41925685). The features are vaguely rectangular and may represent eroded oyster pits or 'borrow' pits, however, it is also possible that they are actually merely natural anomalies in the mud. (S1)
Initially numbered as IKN 022 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
