Full Description

Ridge and furrow, of unknown date, visible as earthworks in 1945 in fields north and northeast of Yarn Hill (around TM 427562) (S1-2). The features consist of both narrow, straight ridge and furrow and an area of 'grips' and it is probable that all the features are intended to enhance drainage and are not the result of cultivation. By 1969 the fields are being ploughed. (S3)
Formerly IKN 024
