Full Description

Three quarries, probably of Post Medieval date, are visible as earthworks by Chapel Farm (at TM 44475875, TM 44505887 and TM 44705887) (S1). The closest pit to Chapel Farm is apparently marked on the 1st series 1" maps as a 'clay pit' (S2).
