Full Description

A number of World War II emplacements are visible as earthworks around TM 434582, on Hazlewood Common. Also visible are a number of features which may be either bomb craters of emplacements (S1). The features are still largely extant in 1972 (S2). The precise purpose of the emplacements is not clear.
