Full Description
Three Post Medieval quarries, visible as earthworks at TM 40805706, TM 40485704 and TM 40395714, south of Snape Warren (S1-2). The eastern quarry is recorded as an 'old gravel pit' on the 1st edition 25" map while the western quarry is recorded as a 'sand pit' (S3).
