Full Description
A group of World War II slit trenches are visible as earthworks on Snape Warren, west of New England Farm. Seven of the trenches are located between mounds of the aircraft obstructions on Snape Warren (around TM 40375787), with a single trench isolated to the north (at TM 40385791) (S1). The area was used for armoured vehicle training during the war.
