Full Description

A World War II strongpoint, comprising a pillbox with associated trenches and a possible weapons pit, all within a barbed wire circuit (with access from the southwest) is visible (from 1940) at TM 517787, overlooking a gap in the cliffs and an obstructed beach to the south (S1-2). The features have since been eroded away.
Initially numbered as EBV 017 during pilot survey of intertial area. Re-numbered Nov 2004
