Full Description

A World War II defended site, comprising a trench system and Type 23 pillbox, is visible in 1941 at TM 518819, northwest of Covehithe. To the northeast of these features are at least two emplacements and what appears to be either a dummy trench system or the laying out lines for an intended trench system relating to the emplacements.
