Full Description
A World War II strongpoint is visible in 1941 at TM 525822, northeast of Covehithe. The site comprises a pillbox with associated trench system, within a barbed wire circuit. (S1)
N of Covehithe, 300 yards N of Covehithe Church and 400 yards from sea cliff. Pillbox, seen from a distance, appears to be like the 'Suffolk square' type of structure.
