Full Description

A World War II millitary structure, possibly a pillbox, is visible in 1945 at TM 52848236, northeast of Covehithe. Although the structure is of comparable size and shape to other pillboxes in the area, it seems slightly anomalous in that it does not seem to have been built until late in the war - some time between 1943 and 1945 (S1-2). The structure has gone by 1952 (S3).
