Full Description

A line of World War II scaffolding visible from 1941, extending along the beaches of Benacre parish, from TM 53428297 to TM 53828456, and forming part of a line extending along most of the coast. The scaffolding was intended to prevent movement off the beaches in the event of an invasion but has since eroded away. (S1-2)
