Full Description

A square pillbox, c5m across, is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1941 (S1, S2) at TM 5496 9506. It does not show on aerial photographs of 1940, but is still visible on a photograph from 1945 (S3). It overlooks Lowestoft Denes, and appears to have been part of the coastal defences in this area.
