Full Description
A square pillbox, c 4m across, is visible on aerial photographs of 1941 (S1,S2) and 1945 (S3). Approx 5m east of the pillbox, a tank trap, made up of 5 anti-tank cubes, can also be seen. This tank trap can also be seen on aerial photographs from 1940 (S4). The features both appear to still be 'in situ' in 1945, and would have formed part of the coastal defences of this area during World War II.
