Full Description
An enclosure structure can be seen just above the highwater mark near to the entrance to Orford Haven. It is irregular in shape and holds water, the beach enclosing the eastern side. It is similar in nature to HLY 044 and may be made of concrete, suggesting a modern date for the structure. (S1) (S2)
The structure is visible to a greater extent in 1970, with the eastern side of the enclosure visible sticking out of the sand. It is also marked on the modern base map as an area of standing water. (S3)
