Full Description

A line of World War II anti-tank cubes is visible creating a beach defence between the sea and a strongpoint situated inland (ADT 050). (S1) (S2) (S3) The defence is still visible in 1971 although a few of the cubes have been displaced. (S4)

Shingle Street, near Alderton. Row of concrete 4 feet square anti-tank cubes approx. 10 metres in length (S5).
