Full Description

A short stretch of World War II beach defence scaffolding is visible in 1945 on aerial photographs. It was probably positioned in order to protect the coastal gun battery to the south. (S1) (S2)
Bawdsey Beach, East Lane, Bawdsey. Line of scaffolding obstacles to N of Bawdsey Battery (S3).
