Full Description

A pair of gun emplacements next to The Cliffs, Lowestoft, are visible on 1941 aerial photographs (S1). They are facing out to sea, and would presumably have formed part of the World War II coastal defences in this area. They are still clearly visible on a 1945 aerial photograph (S2). (S3)
