Full Description

A pair of trenches within a barbed wire enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs from 1941 (S1) and 1944 (S2). Thee trenches may have been used for practice or as part of a military stronghold, but alternatively the site may have been used as a bombing decoy, to draw the enemy fire away from residential areas.
