Full Description

Two sections of trench, possibly with associated banks, are visible at the northern edge of Easton Marshes on 1941 aerial photographs (S1). These may be World War II military features (e.g. practice trenches), but they may also be features related to the drainage of the area. The can still be seen, faintly, on aerial photographs from 1943 (S2).
