Full Description

Two short sections of zig-zag slit trench, c 20m long, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs from 1941 (S1). They are located on waste ground between St Edmund's Road and Station Road, Southwold - now the site of a factory. These features are most likely to be of World War II date, used either for defensive or practice purposes.
